• I have graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from National Institute of Technology-Rourkela, India , with First Class  Honors.This is one of the best Institutes of Engineering in India, ranked among  top 20 Engineering Schools of the country. Here  I learnt the purpose of my life and got the best support to reach my goals.
  • I got an opportunity to work at the  Image Processing and Computer Vision Lab as an only Undergraduate Research Assistant. I assisted  Dr. Pradipta Kumar Nanda in his research work and researched in the field of Stochastic Image Segmentation . 
     
  • This experience helped me to get to ETH Zurich my Internship in the Summers of 2005 under Dr. Gabor Szekely at Computer Vision Lab.Here I worked on the development of a filter to detect dissection membrane in CT images of Aorta.For my  B.Tech Dissertation, I was involved with Dr. S.S Mahapatra for development of a Particle Swarm based algorithm for Cell Formation Problem.Apart from this I had been involved in a lot of research and Learning activities, the details of which can be found in my CV 
    Presently, I am at Texas A&M University -College Station for my M.S in Computer Sciences.Here I am working on High Dynamic Range Imaging with Dr. Wei Yan as a Research Assistant and on  Sketch Recognition and Human Perception with Dr. Tracy Hammond at Sketch Recognition Lab.I can also be reached at my official web page at this link.
